Formed in 1971 as Canterbury United before becoming the Canterbury Eagles in 1990, the Canterbury Eagles Ice Hockey Club (CEIHC) is currently the largest ice hockey club in Australia with 13 team from Atoms (under 10s) right through to Seniors, catering to both male and female players. We are always looking for new players, as well as volunteers of all kinds (coaches, referees, managers, timekeepers and scorekeepers, etc). Since it’s inception the club has been based at Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink, the closest ice rink to the city of Sydney CBD.

2009 was another successful season for the club, winning state championships in both Senior Division 1 and Senior Division 2.
